Pursuant to Article VI.D of the Faculty By-Laws, we write to announce the convening of the Illinois Tech Faculty Senate. The session will be held on Monday, July 27, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. CDT at this Microsoft Teams link. Meeting details are available at the UFC website.

Voting credentials will be distributed in advance of the meeting.

Procedure

Faculty Senate meetings are conducted in accordance with Robert's Rules of Order. Please note that while this meeting is open to all members of the Illinois Tech community, only members of the Faculty Senate (Tenured Professors, Tenured Associate Professors, and active Faculty Emeriti) may comment, make motions, second motions, and cast votes. Minutes will be taken by a Recording Secretary, to be elected at the meeting, and distributed after the event.
